Memories are shadows;
Shadows that haunt me -
Shadows that sometimes become my company....
Memories are experiences
Experiences i live again
I live my past n bask in its pleasure/pain....
Memories are paintings
Paintings that i want to keep
Paintings that i cant tear away....
Memories are paintings
Paintings so beautiful
that my life adorns....
Memories are pleasure
A pleasure to treasure a lifetime....
Memories are a great pain
A pain that is so sweet to bear;
A pain that I'd love to take all my lifetime.... (all over again)
Memories are fun-filled
So funny that i laugh at them
till pearls of tears fill out my eyes....
Memories are so nostalgic
I want to live them all again
They make me cry for no reason....
Memories are so nostalgic
they linger in the air about me
pricking me in my heart deep down....

Possibility Girl
Everyone thinks Possibility Girl is possibly a genius. Any day now, they continually agree, Possibility Girl will make it big. Become a star. ‘You won’t forget us when you're famous, will you?’ they always say, as Possibility Girl begins yet another amazing project.
The only person, who doesn’t believe in Possibility Girl's possible genius, is Possibility Girl herself. She thinks they're being too kind. She isn’t gifted at all. She’s a fake genius, bluffing her way through life. She is convinced the moment she tries to actually achieve her full potential, she will fail, fall flat on her face, and the people that once admired her from afar, will admire her no more. And so Possibility Girl never actually achieves anything. She just sits on the edge of her possible glory and basks in the adulation of her potential.
With Due credits to the Author of abeautifulrevolution -- reflects my ever-shaky confidence - put here to come back to read to realise n maybe get started off again.... though the cycle of faltering n getting up to get started again continues.............

Empty Hours - Beautiful Thoughts
" One day I woke up and you were gone..
I had never felt so helpless in my entire life. It's strange but death teaches one about life. You taught me to live life in the tiny moments. You taught me to value life. You definitely were a great price to pay, for any of the lessons learnt but I am really happy that I ever met you. "

Back Alive
Amidst greens was She-
Singing a song of melancholy.
She watched birds fly away-
in a pinch of dismay.
She glanced at sky in quest;
She wanted silence and rest.
She seemed weary of life;
No matter pleasure or strife.
Turned away from world,
She was still and lonely - yet bold.
She, thoughtful of her gloom,
Waited the Hour for her to bloom.
A day came, she received with a start-
When a lamb probed her with a dart.
Her eyes glowed to see a being
which sought her caressing.
Days passed and they made good company
For the rest of the world to see and envy.
Her lips spread in lively glee
As she went with the lamb in wild spree.
She erased the blue of sky;
With her smile, made everything spry.
Amidst greens was She-
Singing a song of sweet melody.
Singing a song of melancholy.
She watched birds fly away-
in a pinch of dismay.
